Saddleback Orchard is a family owned and operated certified organic pistachio orchard located
about 100 miles northwest of Las Vegas in Amargosa Valley, Nevada. The orchard of 5000 trees
was planted in the spring of 1991 and the spring of 1992.
When the State of Nevada started its organic certification program in 1998 we elected to be
certified in their program, and have continued to be since that time. In 2002 the State of Nevada
was authorized by the US Department of Agriculture to continue to carry the USDA Organic Seal.
Our 8000 sq ft processing plant was completed in 2002 along with the installation of all new
state of the art equipment manufactured and installed by Beeler Industries of Modesto,
California. Here we process, roast, salt, and pack our pistachios.
We use RealSalt, a Kosher certified all natural sea salt mined underground from an ancient sea
bed in Utah. Our pistachios have a "sweet salt" flavor that you may not have experienced.
